Remember That Time I Saw the Queen?

I don't think I ever sent you these...

Hastings Flood

Hello! How are you this week? thank you for the email. It sound like things are great. Have you set up a time to do dinner with sister mills fam yet? I wish I could be there for it!
Things are going so well right now. Sister Allred and I have been working so hard this week. By Sunday I was so exhausted. TGI pday. When I got here Hastings didn't have much to work with. There aren't any solid investigators right now so we've been working hard to change that. We set a goal to flood Hastings with the Bom this week. It was fun to really focus on giving people the Bom and constantly testifying about it. That's when you can see the difference. When you start testifying, even if they don't want it you can see that they were touched by the spirit.
We found a couple of new people to work with as well so hopefully things will pick up now. We met this amazing couple on Saturday when we were contacting on the seafront. They are Gernot and Undine Frochlich from Germany. They were so nice to us which was refreshing because not many people had been that day. They were really touched by the things we had told them and they want to learn more so tonight we are bringing them Boms in their language. I am so excited to see them! Please pray for them! The sad thing is they might be moving to Australia soon to find a job there cause they are struggling to find one here. we'll see what happens. The whole time they were so excited about what we were telling them. Especially Undine. She kept saying 'my heart is racing!' haha and she can barely understand english so that was definitely the power of the spirit.
It's funny. The longer I'm out on my mission I feel like the less I have to say in my letters and I know you probably hate that haha But things are going so well. I love it here and I am having so much fun. Sister Allred is really cool. She served with sister poleboina for a long time so she knows how to make curry really well and in india they always eat it w their hands so I will bring that tradition home to you :) It's fun!
Anyway, I hope you are doing great! Thank you for everything! I love you so much. Have a great week.

Hastings

Hello! :) how are you this week? Thank you for the email. Sounds like everyone is doing great! Things are good here. I don't feel like I have much to fill you in on because I just emailed a couple days ago haha.
I love Hastings already. It is so beautiful here. The ward is really great as well. It is a small ward. Maybe like 70 or 80 come on a regular basis. The people are so sweet though. They spoil us too because they LOVE sister missionaries :) of course they do. Hastings was white washed about 4 or 5 months ago so the ward is still thrilled that they get sisters. It is pretty funny. I like it, it seems like a good ward.
Good news!! I got to go to Nick and Kaushi's sealing!! It was amazing. They were sealed together and then to their little boy Trian who is about 7. It was so cool to be there. Definitely one of the highlights of my mission. Kaushi is pregnant now and she will be having a baby in June. They are such an amazing family, I love them. The sealing was beautiful, what a miracle I got to be there for it!! They seemed so happy and they looked so good. It was so fun to see some of the members from High Wycombe again. I feel like I've seen most of them a lot since I was transfered since I was working at the Visitors Center. The Bishop always says he sees me more since I've been transfered than he did while I was in High Wycombe. I think We're getting close at least! haha They are a great ward. All of them kept telling me I either need to come visit before I go home (unlikely) or come back and stay with them... yes please! The Bishops wife just had a baby and I saw him for the first time at the sealing. He is so cute! I was there for a big chunk of the pregnancy and finally got to see him!
I love Sister Allred. We get along really well. She is from Lehi Utah and she has been out on her mission for nearly a year. She knows sign language, she interprets back home, but she hasn't used it much on her mission. She is an amazing missionary. I love serving with her. We are having a lot of fun! and working hard of course :)
It's wierd to think my mission is coming to a close. I am loving it so much. It has been such a crazy time and so hard and i've faced so many challenges but it has been something that I have loved so much. I'm glad I made the decision to come. It wasn't easy to leave but I think it will be even harder to come home. I love talking to people on the streets and bearing my testimony every day to them. I love having an hour of personal study every day. I love looking out on my balcony and looking at the english channel :) I love it all!!! It was the best decision I ever made to come here. I can't even put into words what my mission has done for me. Since I'm coming home soon I feel a greater sense of urgency. When I talk to people I just want to grab them and say 'don't you realize what I have for you!?' If only they would Listen to me! There was a guy we stopped and talked to on the way to the library this morning. We talked to him for a good half an hour and I just wanted to shake him because he just wouldn't give it a try. It is so sad! If only these people knew what I knew and if only I could express it to them properly.
Anyway. Life is so good. I am so happy out here. I'm not coming home. I still love you though!
Have a great day!

Where, Oh Where, Is Sister Gregson Now?

Oh my goodness. You will not believe this. I got transfered AGAIN!!!! I just started serving in my 7th area. aaahhh. I thought my dl was joking when he told me I was leaving. I thought for sure I would leave bracknell and go back to exeter with sister kutsevych and if not I would stay in bracknell.. NOPE.
I am now serving in Hastings. It is amazing here!! I love it already. I was sad to be transfered again and really shocked. I'm tired of moving around but I'll take what I'm given. It's kinda fun traveling all around england:) I'm on the complete opposite end of where Exeter was. We live right on the coast. we have a balcony and you can see the english channel and if you look to the left of that you can see the old ruins of a castle. It is beautiful. You can get to France cheaper from here than to the temple :) pday? Hastings is gorgeous. I love it here so much already. I can't wait to send you pictures. You'll be so jealous :) haha The flat is so nice and the assistants told me it's the nicest in the mish. oh baby!
I'm serving with Sister Allred number 2. Not High Wycombe allred. Different one. She is really cool and since she came out I was wondering if we would serve together. She is from Utah. No more indians or ukrainians.
President told me he has another assignment/adventure for me but he hasn't told me what it is yet...ohh boy. He felt bad that he transfered me again but this assignment is for me and sister allred so yeah....we will see... who knows what he is up to now. My prediction is it is something musical cause sister allred is pretty musical as well.
There is a family from High Wycombe that is getting sealed this weekend. I am trying to get permission to go. I'm closer then I would have been if I went back to Exeter so there's a chance!! If not I'll probably just go to france :) The family was reactivated while I was in High Wycombe. It is Nick and Kaushi Hewakirindage (good luck with that name) they are from sri lanka and they have a little boy. They are the cutest family ever.
I was sad to leave Bracknell. Its a bit frustrating being transfered all the time but fun too. High Wycombe is the only area I've been in longer than 6 weeks. ha!
Sister Mills is training. A little Chinese girl!! I think her name is Sister Ho. She's cute :) Did Sister Mills' mom ever call you? She said she was going to.. Let me know if she does!
Anyway. Things are good. Just serving a mission in jolly ol england. I love it so much!!!
Thank you for everything. I love ya!
Sorry this is so short. I don't really have time to write properly.
Just know I love ya!

Tri's are the BEST!

Hello! How are you this week?
I am doing great. I am so much better than i was last week. I'm back to normal! Finally! Things are going so well. This email will be super short because today I am going to OXFORD!!! yeah! And we are getting a spevial tour from the senior couple that is serving there.
I Love bracknell. It is fun here. I love serving in a tri. It is hilarious. Contacting is so funny because we are always bumping into each other and stuff. My companions are the best.
Sister Mills is awesome too. I just love her. We get along so well.
Anyway, I'm going to oxford now! Sorry this is so short! I have to go see england while I can!! time is running short.
BTW I am so excited I get home right before courtney leaves on her mish!!!!! YES!! I can't believe she's going to BULGARIA!! what? Good luck court :) I love ya!
I am so happy out here. I'm going to stay forever i think. I love it so much.

Martyn's Baptism, Curry, and Drugs

Oh My Goodness

Hello!! Happy New Year! How are you doing? Things have been so crazy. Sorry it has taken so long for me to email you. There have been bank holidays all week so the library was closed until today.
Things are going well. I like Bracknell. It's been a bit wierd coming here right in the middle of the transfer but it has been lots of fun being with sister mills again.
I'm doing well. This week has been harder than I was expecting. I thought I would be able to go right back to work and I was so excited to be out of the hospital and everything but it's been hard. I guess my body is just really exhausted after the last couple of weeks so when I tried to get right back in the work it didn't turn out as well as I was hoping. I haven't had anymore pains but I've been so tired and weak. It's been really frustrating physically and emotionally. I'm doing a lot better now but it was a real struggle at first.
We've still been able to work and it is going pretty well. I like Bracknell. I miss Exeter though.
We are teaching this guy S and he is so amazing. The Sisters have been teaching him for about 9 months. He wants to be baptized SO bad but he can't because he is Muslim and it is really dangerous for him. If he gets baptized his life will be in a lot of danger. President Shamo interviewed him and wrote about it to the first presidency and now he is waiting for a response from them before S can be baptized. It is so sad. Every time we teach him the last thing he asks is when can he be baptized. He is so sweet and he loves the gospel so much. In the Bible and the Book of Mormon peoples lives are always in danger when they stand up for what they believe. Same with Joseph Smith times but while I've been on my mission I've learned that that still isn't over. Those things still happen and I'm seeing it happen right now with S. S is willing to die for what he believes. It is amazing and so humbling to see him and his love for the gospel. I remember when the sisters first started teaching him and now I get to teach him. He's amazing! Pray for him please :) He needs it.
We saw this less active woman this week. Her name is Jackie and she is so funny. She has these 2 dolls that she treats like real babies. When we go over she has us hold them and you have to be soo careful haha it is hilarious and really wierd. I thought the dolls were really creepy but it was so funny because at one point I was holding one of them and I realized I was standing there bouncing the baby and patting it's back as if it were a real baby!! haha Sister Mills and I went along with acting like they were real babies but overall it was just really weird. . . I love those random experiences like that on my mission though. It is so funny.
Anyway, Things are going good! I'm am doing well and I have really great companions who are helping me so much through this whole thing. I'm so grateful for them :)
Thank you for all you do for me. I love you all so much!
