Hastings

Hello! :) how are you this week? Thank you for the email. Sounds like everyone is doing great! Things are good here. I don't feel like I have much to fill you in on because I just emailed a couple days ago haha.
I love Hastings already. It is so beautiful here. The ward is really great as well. It is a small ward. Maybe like 70 or 80 come on a regular basis. The people are so sweet though. They spoil us too because they LOVE sister missionaries :) of course they do. Hastings was white washed about 4 or 5 months ago so the ward is still thrilled that they get sisters. It is pretty funny. I like it, it seems like a good ward.
Good news!! I got to go to Nick and Kaushi's sealing!! It was amazing. They were sealed together and then to their little boy Trian who is about 7. It was so cool to be there. Definitely one of the highlights of my mission. Kaushi is pregnant now and she will be having a baby in June. They are such an amazing family, I love them. The sealing was beautiful, what a miracle I got to be there for it!! They seemed so happy and they looked so good. It was so fun to see some of the members from High Wycombe again. I feel like I've seen most of them a lot since I was transfered since I was working at the Visitors Center. The Bishop always says he sees me more since I've been transfered than he did while I was in High Wycombe. I think We're getting close at least! haha They are a great ward. All of them kept telling me I either need to come visit before I go home (unlikely) or come back and stay with them... yes please! The Bishops wife just had a baby and I saw him for the first time at the sealing. He is so cute! I was there for a big chunk of the pregnancy and finally got to see him!
I love Sister Allred. We get along really well. She is from Lehi Utah and she has been out on her mission for nearly a year. She knows sign language, she interprets back home, but she hasn't used it much on her mission. She is an amazing missionary. I love serving with her. We are having a lot of fun! and working hard of course :)
It's wierd to think my mission is coming to a close. I am loving it so much. It has been such a crazy time and so hard and i've faced so many challenges but it has been something that I have loved so much. I'm glad I made the decision to come. It wasn't easy to leave but I think it will be even harder to come home. I love talking to people on the streets and bearing my testimony every day to them. I love having an hour of personal study every day. I love looking out on my balcony and looking at the english channel :) I love it all!!! It was the best decision I ever made to come here. I can't even put into words what my mission has done for me. Since I'm coming home soon I feel a greater sense of urgency. When I talk to people I just want to grab them and say 'don't you realize what I have for you!?' If only they would Listen to me! There was a guy we stopped and talked to on the way to the library this morning. We talked to him for a good half an hour and I just wanted to shake him because he just wouldn't give it a try. It is so sad! If only these people knew what I knew and if only I could express it to them properly.
Anyway. Life is so good. I am so happy out here. I'm not coming home. I still love you though!
Have a great day!
Love, chels
